Hudson woman wins second big FL lottery prize in 2 months
TALLAHASSEE (FOX 13) - A Hudson woman claimed a $500,000 prize from the Florida Lottery after winning a $5 game called Flamingo Multiplier.
Lottery officials said Vickie Gant, 57, bought the winning ticket from the New Port Richey Publix at 11400 Ridge Road.
Gant also won big in December when she entered the Fantasy 5 College Football Second Chance Promotion and was selected as the Seminoles grand prize winner of a brand new 2016 KIA Sorrento EX.
The lottery added, its Flamingo Multiplier game launched January 12 and there are more than 7.5 million winning tickets worth more than $113 million in total cash prizes. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-4.23. Also, non-winning tickets for the game may be entered into a second chance drawing and will receive 20 entries per ticket for a chance to win cash prizes of up to $25,000.
