I-8 reopens near Gila Bend following semi crash

GILA BEND, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Interstate 8 has reopened near Gila Bend after a crash involving two semi-trucks closed the westbound lanes on Tuesday morning.

The Arizona Department of Transportation reported that the crash shut down all of the westbound lanes on I-8 at Butterfield, however, all westbound lanes were reopened just before 9 a.m.

One of the semi-trucks spilled a large shipment of flowers and roses onto the roadway.
