Jacknifed semi-truck closes I-10 at the Split
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A jacknifed semi-truck closed I-10 west at the Split after spilling 100 gallons of diesel fuel on Wednesday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the fuel spilled from a damaged saddle tank of the truck.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the jacknifed truck closed I-10 west at the Split. Traffic was diverted to I-17 north.
The truck was originally blocking the right three lanes of westbound traffic on I-10 at the I-17 Split.
After being closed for over an hour, the interstate was re-opened, however, there are still significant traffic delays in the area.
