Man killed in Phoenix shooting; suspect flees before officers arrive
PHOENIX - A man was killed in a Phoenix shooting Monday night, the police department said.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. on March 4 near 40th Avenue and Van Buren Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He died at the scene and police identified him as Ruben Fierro, 30.

The suspect reportedly left before officers got there.
On March 5, police released a video of what they believe was the suspect's vehicle.
"After searching the area for evidence and speaking to witnesses, detectives learned an unknown man shot Fierro and left in a light-colored SUV," police said.
