Missing man found dead in Sun City West canal

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said Monday night a missing 79-year-old man has been found dead.

According to a brief statement, the body of Larry Foote was found in a canal, in the area of 132nd Avenue and RH Johnson Boulevard.

Sheriff's officials said it appears Foote fell off his bicycle, and into the dry canal. There is no suspicious circumstances surrounding Foote's death, at this time.

Foote, according to MCSO, was reported missing on Sunday, after he was last seen on the 13000 block of W. Bolero Drive in Sun City West.
