One dead, two critically hurt in west Phoenix crash
PHOENIX - One person is dead and two others critically hurt after an accident in west Phoenix.
Phoenix Fire crews responded to the area for a crash involving several vehicles in the area of 43rd Avenue and McDowell at about 2:30 a.m.
One person was pronounced dead on the scene.
Two other people, a 35-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, were rushed to Banner University Trauma Center in critical condition.
Phoenix Police say a woman in a burgundy vehicle was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Another passenger was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
A fourth person was treated and did not need to be transported.
