One dead, two seriously injured near 8th St and Bell Road

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Three people were shot Saturday afternoon near 8th Street and Bell Road, police say.

One man was killed at the scene. Two are in the hospital; one is expected to recover but the other victim is still in critical condition.

Police say the shootout started from an argument at around 1 P.M. The shooting broke out an apartment complex. Witnesses to the shooting were taken to another location for questioning.
