Phoenix Fire: Couple rescued by helicopter after car was stuck in wash

PHOENIX - Officials with Phoenix Fire Department say a couple had to be rescued off the roof of a stranded car Saturday.
According to a brief statement, the rescue happened in the area of Table Mesa Road and the I-17. The SUV the couple was in was stuck in a wash, with about four to five feet of water in the wash.
The couple, according to officials, had to be rescued by an MCSO helicopter. No one was hurt.
