Phoenix man arrested after barricade situation

Phoenix Police say 38-year-old Brandon Stracener was pointing a gun at several people who were refusing to leave a party at his unit at the Jamestown Apartments on Saturday night.

When officers arrived at the apartment complex near Indian School and 30th Street, they found Stracener had barricaded himself and his daughter inside an apartment. Phoenix Police tactical teams worked for several hours, negotiating with the suspect until he finally surrendred.

Officers say they found a weapon inside the apartment. The girl was not hurt.

Stracener is now facing several charges, including aggravated assault and endangerment.
