Phoenix man shot, seriously injured from suspect inside a car

PHOENIX - A man was seriously injured after being shot in Phoenix on Sunday, Feb. 7, the police department said.

At around 3:40 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting near 43rd Street and Alta Vista Road. There they found a man who was shot.

The suspect reportedly shot the victim from a car and fled the scene before police arrived.

No further information is available.
