Phoenix pawn shop in shambles after SUV rams front window

PHOENIX - A pawn shop is in shambles after someone drove right through the front window near 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard.

Sometime early Friday morning, a suspect driving a Ford Explorer SUV rammed the front of Regal Pawn, even taking down part of the tall security bars.

If the driver's intention was to burglarize the business, the person didn't get too far because watching it all go down was the shop's owner, who was just across the parking lot. He yelled at the driver, who then put the SUV in reverse and sped away from the scene.

The owner of the shop sis now cleaning up the mess.
