Phoenix Police officer injured during domestic violence call

A Phoenix officer was injured during a fight with a suspect from a domestic violence call.

Officers responded to a call on Friday evening, leading them to a home in Scottsdale. Phoenix Police and Scottsdale Police arrived at the home near the 101st Street and Bayview, where they found the suspect and took the person into custody.

We're told the suspect was tased, and was rushed to the hospital. During a scuffle with the suspect, a Phoenix officer was injured and taken to the hospital.

The officer suffered minor injuries, according to Phoenix Police. Scottsdale Police have not identified the suspect who was injured. It's unknown if the suspect survived injuries sustained during the arrest.
