Phoenix police save man from burning apartment
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Two Phoenix police officers rescued a man from a burning apartment on Monday morning.
The Phoenix Police Department tells Fox 10 that the fire broke out at an apartment complex at 304 W. Southern. The victim was hanging out of his apartment window unconscious, when Sgt. Seitter and Officer Wilson pulled their vehicle under the window and held the victim there until a fire truck arrived at the scene.
Once firefighters arrived at the scene the victim was pulled down safely. He was transported to a local hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
