Police search for armed robbery suspect in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE - Scottsdale Police are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a convenience store overnight.

Police say a man walked into the Circle K at 81st Street and Indian School at 6:30pm on Friday, January 12th. He showed the clerk a silver handgun and demanded cash. The suspect left in a gold Toyota Camry four-door sedan with a handicapped car on the rearview mirror and a large dent in the left front quarter panel. The vehicle was last seen heading north on 82nd Street.

The suspect is described as a white man, five feet ten inches tall, heavy build, with long gray hair in a ponytail and a gray mustache. He wore a light blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and a tan baseball hat with glasses. Anyone with information is asked to call Scottsdale Police at 480-312-5000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
