Police: Woman shot man who was touching himself on bike and followed her to front door

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say a woman in southeast Houston shot a man who was touching himself inappropriately while riding a bike when he followed her toward her home.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 6600 block of Cherrydale.

According to investigators, the woman was taking out the trash when she saw the man touching himself on the bike and told him to stop. Police say the man started to follow her to the front door, while still touching himself, and she warned that she would shoot if he went near her.

Police say the man grabbed the front door and the woman fired a shot through the door, hitting the man.

The man was taken to the hospital and is in surgery.

Police say the man was arrested a few weeks ago off of Bellfort after running down a street naked.
