Remains identified as missing Lake Havasu City 18-year-old
LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Lake Havasu City police say human remains found by hikers were those of a young man who had been reported missing.
The Today's News-Herald newspaper in Lake Havasu City reports that the humans were identified through DNA as those of 18-year-old James Gunnell.
His family had reported him missing on Aug. 1.
Octobers found his remains and his wallet and backpack in a wash in October.
Police continue their investigation into the cause of death.
