Tohono O'Odham nation pays Glendale $1.2 million
GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - The City of Glendale has received their first annual payment from the Tohono O'Odham nation.
The tribe has opened a casino in the City of Glendale this year.
During negotiations 2-years-ago the nation agreed to pay the city $25 million over 20 years.
Tuesday's payment was almost $1.2 million.
