Preliminary ratings released by Fox on Tuesday showed that 30 million viewers tuned in to Monday night's U.S.-Belgium World Cup match in Seattle, giving it the history-making mark. The game reached its peak audience between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time with more than 36.8 million viewers.
