USGS: 3.1 magnitude earthquake felt near Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KSAZ) - The United States Geological Survey reports a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was felt just east of Flagstaff Sunday afternoon.

The report says the earthquake happened around 2:30 p.m. 12 kilometers east southeast of Flagstaff. A map from the USGS shows it happened near Walnut Canyon National Monument.

No other details have been provided at this time and no damage has been reported so far.
