Robby Baker

Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter

Robby Baker is excited to return to Phoenix and join the FOX 10 Phoenix team as weekend sports anchor/reporter.

Phoenix sports are in his blood. Whether it’s the Cardinals run to the 2008 Super Bowl, the Luis Gonzalez game-winning hit in the bottom of the 9th of the 2001 World Series or the countless Territorial Cup battles he’s enjoyed over the years, Robby is honored to have the opportunity to tell the next chapter in Arizona's rich sports history.

A native of the valley, Robby attended Pinnacle High School and went on to study at Arizona State. After graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Robby worked for the San Diego Union-Tribune covering the Padres and Chargers.

Most recently, he was the weekend sports anchor at WKRG in Mobile, Alabama where he created and anchored the market’s only Sunday night sports show, "Sports Overtime". He’s had the privilege of covering several major events including the Super Bowl, Final Four, PAC-12 and SEC championships and the NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

Robby’s passion is to cover sports in a fun and candid way that gives fans a unique perspective on the teams, games and players they love.

When he’s not covering sports, you'll probably find Robby out for a run, hanging out with family and friends or taking full advantage of all the great outdoor activities available in and around the greater Phoenix area.
