Detroit woman's photo of Redskins coach urinating during Lions game goes viral

A woman at the Lions game Sunday took a photo that has gone viral online.

Laura Snyder-Stephens snapped a photo of a Redskins assistant coach urinating on the sideline. The special teams coach, Ben Kotwica, can be seen in the photos urinating into a Gatorade cup over a trash can.

The woman, who attended the game with her two children, took the photo and shared it on social media with the post: "I can't help myself but we were in the second row on the Redskins side that could take this pic of the Redskins coach peeing."

Kotwica was seen urinating during the third quarter of the Lions eventual win.

FOX 2's Jennifer Hammond asked Golden Tate about the photo and he said it is not uncommon for players to relieve themselves on the sideline during games.

"However, that's not the way," he said. "Usually an equipment guy or the trainers have bags with sanitizing wipes and they cover you up with Gatorade towels. You are usually behind something tall where only you can see your private parts.

"That sucks for him. And not impressive."

There has been no comment from the Redskins organization.

Sites across the internet have picked up on the photo including TMZ.com and Deadspin.com.
