New tarantula species discovered in southeast Arizona
A group recently published their findings in the journal "Zookeys." The first discovered the tarantula during a 2018 trip to the Chiricahua Mountains in the Coronado National Forest, and in their paper, they compared the species with 20 others. They defined this new type of tarantula by their bright orange hairs, combined with its darker body.
