KSAZ/KUTP – Traffic Coordinator – Copy  (Regular Full-Time):
Full time position, responsible for ensuring advertiser schedules run with correct commercial material.  Must update and resolve commercial assignments into computer system on a daily basis and work with tight deadlines. Other duties include processing multiple dub lists, downloading commercial spots, and working directly with Master Control to ensure all materials are present.  Responsible for scheduling Paid Programming. Must check, verify, and file all material instructions at the end of each day.  Maintain neat and orderly commercial inventory files. Requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and accuracy.  Be able to back up fellow copy coordinator as well as work in various traffic positions, as needed. Communicate professionally with advertising agencies and station personnel in various departments. Prior broadcast traffic experience on the Wide Orbit traffic system preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required; College degree pref. KSAZ TV - Executive Producer (Regular Full-Time)
Oversee and manage news personnel; assignment editors, writers, producers, editors, anchors, reporters, digital. Must be able to produce a timely and compelling newscast that is editorially and visually dynamic. Participate and lead in the editorial process. Occasionally, produce content/newscasts in the newsroom, in the field and for news specials. Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned by the news director and/or assistant news director. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop and assemble content on multiple platforms. Must have strong knowledge of social media and be able to incorporate and showcase content from multiple platforms into newscast. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications and four years recent experience in a newsroom as a senior news producer or executive producer. Have exceptional news judgment, strong writing and copy editing abilities. We are looking for a competitor who can challenge the staff to perform at their highest levels every night. Must be able to work in fast paced environment under specific time constraints; exceptionally creative. Must be able to think out of the box and find new ways to present information. Must be self-motivated and effectively work independently and on a team. Supervise the work of others. Will work closely with news management to continually evolve our newscasts. KSAZ/KUTP - Account Executive (Regular, Fulltime)
Fox Television in Phoenix Arizona is looking for an Account Executive to grow, maintain, and improve existing client list.  Qualified candidates must be able to work in a team environment, have an eagerness to learn television spot and digital sales, WideOrbit and Kantar, and develop a good understanding of the overall broadcast industry.  Will be responsible for all aspects of account negotiation and maintenance including; transactional business, digital, generating new business, and the creation and sale of unique promotional sponsorships.  Candidate must have excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills and be able to develop strong client and agency relationships.  One year of marketing, communications, or advertising sales experience or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred.  Knowledge of media math, TV ratings and web metrics, MS Office products, primarily MS Power Point, Word and MS Excel is a plus. Candidate must be detailed oriented, resourceful, reliable and a self-starter.  Maintain timely and detailed paperwork and reports relating to sales activities.  Must have or be willing to obtain and drive reliable transportation and have a valid driver’s license. KSAZ TV – TV News Content Creator
Assist with the production of, all areas of newscast and digital content including story conception and research, content selection, newscast timing, writing, booking guests, interviews, social media and web postings, basic video editing.  Field produce spot news stories, planned events, special segments, and other outside programming.  Work cohesively with all areas of newsroom to produce news stories.  Overtime, weekends, holidays, and varied hours required.  Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.  Two years TV news experience required.  Requires a solid background in writing and news production.
