14-month-old girl heads home after miracle recovery from rare infection

MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - It's what some are calling a holiday miracle.

A 14-month-old girl is heading home after a rough start to life.

She suffered from a rare infection in her heart and her family was preparing for the worst.

Fox 10's Matt Rodewald was at Cardon's Children's Hospital in Mesa with the family.
