Apache Junction police seek sexual assault suspect

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Apache Junction police are searching for a man who they say sexually assault a woman in the desert.

According to the Apache Junction Police Department, the assault happened on January 28 at about 4:30 a.m. when a woman says she met the suspect at the Lucky Strikes Bar and he offered to give her a ride home.

Police say the man then took her somewhere in the desert and sexually assaulted her. The woman was eventually able to convince the suspect to take her home.

The suspect is described as a 32-38-year-old White man with brown hair. He was driving a newer-model white Dodge pickup truck with a work ladder.
