Casa Grande PD investigates shooting that killed 1, injured 5
CASA GRANDE, Ariz. - Five people were injured in an early morning shooting in Casa Grande on Saturday, and a sixth person, police say, was found dead.
What we know:
The Feb. 8 shooting happened around 1:10 a.m. near McMurray Boulevard and Pinal Avenue, the police department said.
"Upon their arrival, officers discovered five gunshot victims. Three of the victims are 20 years old, one 17, and one 19. These five victims were flown to Valley area hospitals for trauma care and their conditions currently vary from stable to unknown. Officers also discovered one 19-year-old male deceased from an apparent gunshot. The deceased male was identified as Phoenix resident Syncere Ellington," investigators said.
Police say there are no outstanding suspects or threats to the community.
The investigation is ongoing.

Police didn't say what led up to the shooting, or if anyone was arrested in connection to it.
What they're saying:
A day after the shooting, one of the victims spoke to FOX 10.
"We started hearing ‘boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.’ It wasn't no shooting from the street. It was like they came close up to the window," the victim, who wanted to stay anonymous, said.
"It happened so fast, in the blink of an eye. When I tell you we just got back in the house, just got back in the house. If we had all been outside, 9 out of 10 we all would have died," the victim said.
