Chandler police: 13-year-old boy with autism who ran away from school has been found

CHANDLER, Ariz. (FOX 10) - Chandler police officers were searching for a 13-year-old boy with autism who ran away from school on Tuesday.

According to the Chandler Police Department, Christopher Cagle ran away from Andersen Junior High School at about 11 a.m.

Christopher is described as five-feet tall, weighing 125 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and cargo shorts. He was carrying a dark-colored backpack.

Police say he has autism, is deaf in one ear and needs his prescribed medication.

Just before 2 p.m., Chandler police stated Christopher was found and he is safe.
