DPS: Suspected drunk driver leads trooper on pursuit on I-10

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Authorities say a suspected drunk driver was taken into custody after leading them on a pursuit on Interstate 10 on Wednesday morning.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a trooper tried to stop a driver for a possible DUI on westbound I-10, just west of I-17.

DPS says the driver failed to stop and led the trooper on a pursuit at speeds of 55 to 65 miles per hour.

The vehicle exited the freeway at 75th Avenue and the driver was taken into custody.
