Glamorous camping experience to start soon in Queen Creek

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Glamping is known for taking the "rough" out of "roughing it". As glamour camping takes off, people living in the Valley can get in on the action as well!

"It's going to be the most awesome comfortable camping experience you've ever had," said Carrie Schnepf with Schnepf Farms.

While the concept of glamping isn't brand new, the campers at Schnepf Farms are.

"We have 8 vintage airstream trailers from 1948 to 1972, and they've all be completely upgraded and renovated," said Schnepf.

Carrie and her husband Mark came up with the idea of "The Cozy Peach" when they wanted to provide an elevated camping experience.

Adding part of the charm is when old meets new.

"So you get to kind of experience all of that old vintage era and get to bring back a few memories, but also we've upgraded we have flat screen TVs and bathrooms and microwaves, all that stuff that makes it a little more comfortable," said Schnepf.

Above and beyond the bare necessities, every guest can enjoy a little something called "trailer service"

"Whats more glamorous than having breakfast in bed?" said Schnepf. "You can have breakfast at your trailer, and it is delivered to you when you want it. You can fill out your little cards the night before and hang it on your trailer door, and my guys will come pick it up, and literally, they'll deliver your breakfast, ready for you to enjoy!"

Glamping officially starts March 15.
