Man stung by bees more than 200 times in Glendale

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Glendale Firefighters say a man was stung more than 200 times while doing yard work in the area of 61st Avenue and Ocotillo.

Firefighters responded to the scene at about 8 a.m. when the man's lawn equipment apparently upset the bees. One man was stung a total of 200 times and he had to be rushed to the hospital.

He will likely survive the bee attack.

Firefighters say a total of three adults were attacked by the bees.
