Officials outline security procedures for the Waste Management Phoenix Open

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Officials have outlines security procedures for this year's Waste Management Phoenix Open.

According to documents, bag inspections will be performed at all admission gates while the gates are open, and everyone will be subjected to search at the entrances and on the course. Walk-through metal detectors will be used at each entrance gates.

Officials have different size restrictions for bafs. Clear tote bags, plastic, vinyl, or other carry items can't exceed 12" x 6" x 12", while opague bags, including purses, can't exceed 6" x 6" x 6", and guest will not be allowed to empty and collapse a non-approved bag into a clear bag.

A number of items are prohibited, including chair bags, backpacks, law or oversize chairs, seat cushions, and pets, with an exception made for service animals.
