PD: Phoenix man dies after jack fails, trapping him under car

PHOENIX - Phoenix Police say a man working on his car was killed in a tragic accident. 

Crews responded to a home near 79th Avenue and Turney on Monday afternoon.

Police say the man, 55, was underneath the vehicle when the jack he was using failed causing the car to fall on top of him. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. 

His name is not being released at this time.
