Police: 17-year-old taken to hospital in extremely critical condition following reports of shooting
PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- Phoenix Police officials say a 17-year-old boy has been taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, following an apparent shooting incident Tuesday.
Officials said, in a brief statement, that officers responded to the 4600 block of S. 8th Street for reports of shots fired, and found the teen with an apparent gunshot injury. Officials released few other information surrounding the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
