Police: Clerk shot, killed during armed robbery at 7-Eleven

Phoenix police say the shooting happened overnight at a 7-Eleven near 16th Street and Southern. When the suspect entered the 7-Eleven, he robbed the clerks at gunpoint.

The surveillance video shows the gunman demanding money from the two clerks, who then handed over all the cash in the register. The suspect then ordered the two employees to a back room where the victim got into a struggle with the man for the gun.

The suspect then shot and killed 36-year-old Amanjeet Singh Toor and left the store.

The suspect was wearing a blue sweatshirt, a bandana over his face and gloves.
