Police investigate fatal officer-involved shooting in Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police in Phoenix said Tuesday afternoon that a suspect is dead, after being shot by an officer.

The incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at an apartment complex near 70th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Officials say the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Adam Brogdon, fled from a stolen vehicle and pointed his gun at an officer. That officer fired, striking Brogdon.

The name and age of the officer have not been released.

No officers were injured in the incident.
