Deadly shooting in Phoenix under investigation
Police are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man at an apartment in west Phoenix.
PHOENIX - Phoenix Police say they are searching for a person they believe is responsible for a deadly shooting.
Investigators say the shooting happened early in the morning, on Feb. 9.
Shooting victim identified
What we know:
Per police, the shooting happened at an apartment complex near 35th Avenue and Camelback. Officers were called on scene at around 2:30 a.m., and they found a 50-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, identified by investigators as Ronald Armstrong Jr., died at the hospital. The suspect, meanwhile, ran off before police arrived.

Police say they do not have any information on the suspect.
