Police: Man accused of shooting, running woman over in custody
WINSLOW, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say 35-year-old Adam Blomdahl, who was wanted in connection to a deadly triple-shooting Tuesday night, was arrested in Winslow.
Residents say the shots rang out around midnight and three people were rushed to the hospital after bullets went flying.
Phoenix police say it started with an argument between a 42-year-old woman and Blomdahl and escalated when her 62-year-old boyfriend stepped in. Terrance Hensley says his roommate, a 65-year-old man, was shot in the leg after trying to help break up the altercation.
Blomdahl allegedly went into his house, grabbed a gun and shot the three people. Police say after the shooting, Blomdahl ran the woman over with his car multiple times before leaving the scene.
The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but later died. The two men are in stable condition.
