Possible bus strike looms in the valley

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A potential strike could affect the morning commute for some valley residents on Thursday.

Workers with the Amalgamated Transit Union will meet on Wednesday to decide it they will strike. The union has been working without a contract since June.

If there is a strike, several routes in the valley will be affected, including those along Central Avenue, Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street.

The bus company has not commented on the situation.
