Sheriff: Two dead, one child injured in shooting

TUCSON, Ariz. (FOX 10) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that left two dead and one child injured.

Deputies responded to reports of shots fired on April 27 at 11:30 a.m. at a building on the 100 block of W Ina Road. Once officials arrived at the scene, they discovered an 11-year-old with non-life-threatening injuries. The child was then taken to a nearby hospital where they received treatment for their injuries.

When deputies went further inside the building, they found two individuals who had obvious signs of trauma - deputies determined they were dead. Detectives took over the investigation and confirmed the two individuals found died by gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
