Suspect in Chandler officer involved shooting arrested
CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Allen Pedro, the suspect in an officer-involved shooting incident that happened on Monday, has been arrested.
According to DPS, Pedro surrendered himself to Gila River Police at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Gila River Police, according to DPS, then contacted Chandler Police.
Pedro was the subject of a Blue Alert, following Monday's incident. According to Chander Police, Pedro allegedly fled a traffic stop near Arizona Avenue and Riggs Road, and was later seen walking through the desert, west of State Route 587.

According to Chandler Police Tuesday morning, a woman inside the car, identified as Angelene Sunna, was booked into the Maricopa County Jail for outstanding warrants out of Pinal and Maricopa Counties.
Chandler Police said Sunna is not facing criminal charges, in connection with the incident on Monday.
Meanwhile, Pedro, according to Chandler Police, will eventually be booked into the Maricopa County Jail.
