US 93 reopens after multivehicle wreck; DPS says 2 killed

WICKENBURG, Ariz. (AP) - The main highway linking Las Vegas and Phoenix has reopened after being partially closed briefly due to a multivehicle accident that authorities say killed two people.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says northbound US 93 has reopened after being closed south of State Route 71 northwest of Wickenburg for about 20 minutes because of the Friday morning collision.

Trooper Kameron Lee of the state Department of Public Safety says preliminary information indicates a tractor-trailer rig was involved in the wreck.
