Valley shop sells crime scene props

PHOENIX - From crime scene tape to evidence markers to fingerprint kits, Tom Arriola, owner of the Crime Scene store in Phoenix, has it all.

They've been in business for 12 years, and Arriola says plenty of people like to come in and look around - although he does have some long-time customers.

Detective Greg Lutz runs a murder mystery company in Arizona and uses many of the items in the store for his production.

"I used to make up my own stuff," says Lutz. "I would have to print out long lists of items, evidence envelopes...I would have to create my own dusting kits."

One of the products from Crime Scene has even been on TV - Arriola says the store sold a forensics jacket to the show CSI, which was used for the first two years of the series.
