Wandering Cattle Take Over Georgia School Campus
BRYAN COUNTY, Ga - A small herd of escaped cattle decided to stop and graze on the manicured athletic fields at a south Georgia middle and high school early Tuesday. Pembroke Police Chief Randy Alexander told FOX 5 News "A local farm is located behind the school, and sometimes they escape. They just wanted to get to the good grass".
The Pembroke Police Department was called to wrangle the hungry cattle back where they belong.
During the 'great escape' the cattle dined on the dew covered grass of the school's baseball field. Pembroke is located just outside of Savannah, GA.
