2 pedestrians killed in separate incidents in metro Phoenix

Two pedestrians died were killed when struck by vehicles in separate incidents in metro Phoenix early Thursday morning.

According to Phoenix police, the driver of a vehicle that struck and dragged 43-year-old Doesha Eskew did not remain at the scene near 36th Street and Thomas Road. Eskew was reportedly trapped underneath the car from 36th Street, just south of Thomas, to Oak Street, about four blocks.

The car reportedly turned west on Oak, and then went another block until Eskew's body rolled away from the car.

Scottsdale

Police in Scottsdale said a person was struck and killed on Camelback Road.

No identities were released and no additional information was immediately available.
