3 weeks later: Buckeye boy remains missing

It's been more than three weeks since a 10-year-old boy disappeared from his Buckeye home.

On July 17, 10-year-old Jesse Wilson vanished from his Buckeye home and his mother says Jesse left the house unnoticed.

"My son has either climbed out the window, which he's done before, or he's gone out the back door," said his mother on a 9-1-1 recording.

Since his disappearance, authorities and hundreds of volunteers have scoured neighborhoods looking for the boy, but so far Jesse has not been found.

On Monday, Jesse was supposed to start the fourth grade at the Bradley Academy in Goodyear and the school's principal has setup a yellow desk with Jesse's name on it as symbol to welcome him back.

"He is a very wonderful student to have, he's very well-liked," Principal Harold Cadiz said.

Buckeye police say there are no new leads on Jesse and anyone with information should call police at 623-349-6411.
