5 inmates hospitalized after possible drug overdose: MCSO
PHOENIX - Five inmates from the Fourth Avenue Jail were taken to a hospital after they reportedly overdosed on drugs.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the inmates may have ingested drugs, leading to an overdose.
MCSO said on Sept. 19 that four of the inmates were back at the jail. The fifth inmate remains hospitalized.
Jail crimes detectives will investigate the incident.
