50 people become citizens during Suns game
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services will welcome America's newest citizens during a ceremony at the Phoenix Suns game.
It's the first such ceremony to take place during an NBA game.
USCIS Phoenix District Director Al Gallmann will administer the Oath of Allegiance to America's newest citizens on the main court at halftime of the Suns-Houston Rockets game.
A total of 50 people will take the oath, they come from 16 countries: Belize, Canada, China, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Romania, Rwanda, United Kingdom, and Ukraine.
