8-pound Yorkie hit by car, left for dead saved after surgery
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - An 8-pound Yorkie who was hit by a car and left for dead has been saved after extensive surgery.
The Animals Benefits Club tells Fox 10 that "Eddie" suffered a shattered pelvis and underwent almost five hours of surgery after being hit by a car. He was brought to ABC and immediately rushed to Phoenix Referral and Emergency where Dr. William Linney performed the life-saving surgery.
Now, Eddie's life has been saved and he can walk again.
ABC is in need of donations to go towards Eddie's medical costs of $4,500.
