AMBER ALERT CANCELLED: 2 abducted children found safe, suspect in custody
TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Tempe police say an Amber Alert has been canceled after two abducted children have been found safe and a suspect is in custody.
Police say 3-year-old Chandra Campbell and 8-year-old Jazmyn Campbell were found safe inside a home near Broadway and McClintock Roads after the the suspect's vehicle, a black Chrysler Sebring, was spotted near the home.
The suspect, 39-year-old David Fuller, was also found inside the home and was arrested. The girls have been reunited with their mother.
Investigators say on November 11 at 10:15 p.m., David Fuller abducted the two girls from a Circle K near Broadway and Mill Avenue after he got into an argument with Jazmyn's mother before leaving with the two children.
Police say Fuller is Jazmyn's biological father but has no relation to Chandra.
Police were concerned Fuller could have been heading to Las Cruces, New Mexico, or Miami, Florida, and believed the children were in danger.
Fuller faces kidnapping charges pending the outcome of the investigation.
