Authorities need help identifying body of teen

MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Authorities need help identifying the body of a teen found dead near Kingman in September.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office says the girl was found along north Highway 93 between Kingman and the Hoover Dam on September 28.

The teen is described as an African-American girl between the ages of 13 and 17, 5'7", 105 to 130 pounds, with black or dark brown hair, pierced ears and no scars or tattoos.

Investigators say dental records are being uploaded into the national database and a DNA sample is being processed.

The medical examiner has not been able to determine the cause of death.
